Recovery centre there for everyone

The Recovery Centre held an awareness day for its stakeholders.

Freedom Recovery Centre (FRC), located just outside town, held an open awareness day on February 15.

The drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre aim to help and support those affected by addiction and help them move on to find a new life.

“What I want to say to you all today is yes we can,” said Karabelo Mofolo, a former addict.

“I know the road you are going through. It’s not easy and you will be tested. Addiction takes a toll on your relationships, yourself and your relationship with God.

“The Bible says be sober and that’s what we have to do to protect ourselves, our families and those around us.
“So when you go out into the world again, stick it through, write down where you want to be and see it through.”
