Local entertainer presents gender-based violence play.
Young actor, singer, radio and TV presenter Sbongakonke Cele, aka Sbongarrrsa, denounces gender-based violence in the play called Story of Lucy.
The 16-year-old is the owner of Untold Stories Told Film Project (PTY) LTD that stages theatrical plays based on South African stories.
“I wrote a play called Story of Lucy. It is about a woman called Lucy Ndlovu who experienced hardship in her life. She is abused by her ex-husband, who also kills their child. Lucy then tells her story about what was happening during that time,” explained Sbongarrrsa.
