NIGEL – According to the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), the results for the Nigel (Ekurhuleni, Ward 88) are in.
The DA maintains control within the ward after the elections with 6 263 votes and a resultant 42.23% support that also gave the party one seat.
The ANC received 3 899 votes within the ward with 26.29% support.
The Patriotic Alliance received 1 702 votes from the community with 11.48% support.
The FF+ received 1 150 votes with 7.75% support, while the Independent Ratepayers Association of South Africa received 665 votes and a resultant 4.48% support.
The EFF received 449 votes and a resultant 3.03% support in the ward.
