Nigel beauty is Empress South Africa semi-finalist
Representing Nigel at the Miss Empress South Africa 2022 is the bubbly Anele Mnisi.
Nineteen-year-old model Anele Mnisi is representing Nigel in the Miss Empress South Africa 2022 pageant.
The semi-finalist is currently studying logistics and supply chain management at Rosebank College.
She wants to use the opportunity to advocate for change and development in her community.
According to the model, the pageant is based online and advocates for women empowerment.
“The pageant is about building people and helping them realise their dreams.
“It is not only based on looks and certain body types but rather very inclusive.
“It teaches us how to be active citizens through various community outreach programmes,” explained Mnisi.
She said she received the courage to pursue her modelling dream from family and friends.
“I have always loved modelling. As a child, I use to wear heels and pretend to model.
“With the love and support from my loved ones, I have been able to chase my dreams,” she said.
Currently, she’s doing motivational talks, raising awareness on gender-based violence and mentoring young girls to boost their self-confidence.
She aspires to be a qualified logistician, model, lawyer and events manager.
“There’s no substitute for hard work,” said Mnisi.
