Change of command parade held at Heidelberg Gymnasium

The parade was held in honour of Col Felicia Maganwe and Colonel Nhlanhla Zama.

A change of command parade was held at the South African Army Gymnasium on October 7.

The event was held in honour of the outgoing commanding officer of the gymnasium, Col Felicia Maganwe, as she handed over the command of the unit to the newly appointed Col Nhlanhla Zama.

Chief Army Force Structure Maj-Gen Sandile Hlongwa attended the occasion as the senior dignitary on behalf of the chief of the South African Army.

Members of the SA Army Command Cadre also attended the event.

Maganwe served with great pride in various capacities in her military career before assuming command of the SA Army Gymnasium as its seventh commanding officer for 2018 to 2021.
