SAPS members rewarded for decade of service

Police officers and members were honoured on September 28 during a medal parade in Vereeniging.

Those who have been in the service of the SAPS for 10 years were recognised for their hard work and dedication.
Two members of Heidelberg SAPS, Det Sgt Aubrey Mabelane and WO John Shilenge, were among those to receive medals.

Both members expressed their happiness and gratitude for the achievement.

“We are happy about this opportunity,” they said.

“It’s hard to make it this far in the service, but we are grateful to have come this far.”
