Ekurhuleni warns of water supply interruption

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) advises customers in Nigel and Duduza about a planned water supply interruption from 05:00 on July 2 to 07:00 on July 3.

The interruption is due to a Rand Water tie-in operation at M10, M7 and Heidelberg Station into existing pipelines to commission the 14km section of the newly installed M2 pipeline.

The affected areas will be Duduza, Masechaba View, Bluegum View, John Dube Village, Coolbreeze, Nigel, Ferryvale, Visagie Park, Glenvarloch, Pretoriusstad, Vorsterkroon, Alra Park, Mackenzieville, Cerutiville and Tsakani Extension 19/20/21.

There will be four roving water tankers providing water during the interruption.

The CoE apologises for the inconvenience caused.
