A woman and two men were arrested on Monday evening after kidnapping and robbing a man in Rensburg.
The trio were nabbed along Limpopo Street in Shalimar Ridge around 10pm.
According to the victim, he was in his car along Bree Street in Rensburg on Sunday when he was approached by the trio.
The victim and the three then drove off together, but the victim was soon forced to stop and was locked in the boot of his car.
His captors then drove to his house from where they stole electronic items.
They drove around with the victim in the boot that evening and sold the stolen goods in Shalimar Ridge and Duduza.
Police members were informed of the whereabouts of the perpetrators and a quick response by Const Bongani Mtsweni and Const Portia Sibanda led to the arrest of the woman and men.
They will appear in the Heidelberg Magistrate’s Court soon.
