HEIDELBERG – A 65-year-old man was arrested on Monday afternoon in connection with the murder of a woman at a Heidelberg guesthouse last week
Det Sgt Happy Kubheka and Det Sgt Musa Maluleke, who are investigating the case, received information from community members that led to the arrest of the man.

The body of the 47-year-old woman was found along Pretorius Street in the driveway of a guesthouse around 9pm on Thursday, as previously reported by the HERAUT.
The deceased booked into the guesthouse around 4pm.
The arrested man will appear in the Heidelberg Magistrate’s Court today (April 20) and faces a murder charge.
