Chamber of Business welcomes new members

Yolandi Boshoff, chairperson of Heidelberg Chamber of Business, was proud to announce the increase in membership since the last count at the meeting held on April 18.

Jaco Kritzinger from Lesedi Community Centre was the guest speaker at the Heidelberg Chamber of Business meeting on April 13.

New members were also welcomed.

Yolandi mentioned that the town was robbed from people who had died and asked attendees for a moment of silence as a way to show condolences to the family and friends.

Jaco Kritzinger, the chairperson of Lesedi Community Centre (LCC), as the guest speaker of the evening presented the challenges and success of LCC. Jaco mentioned that two of the fund-raising projects to look out for is Jail or Bail and Give of Warmth.

“Homeless shouldn’t mean hopeless,” Jaco said and mentioned that according to Stats SA, 56 per cent of South Africans are considered poor.

Yolandi and Jaco thanked the community for their support.
