Easter law enforcement operations launched
Law enforcement agencies launched their Easter Law Enforcement Operation in the early hours of this morning.
HEIDELBERG – Joint law enforcement agencies converged along the N3 Freeway in Heidelberg at the weighbridge from the early hours of today (March 31) to launch the Easter Law Enforcement Operation.
The Easter Operation started off with police visibility along the N3, R23 Road and R551 Road from 4am. It was followed by a multi-disciplinary roadblock at the weighbridge.
During the on-duty parade, Sedibeng SAPS acting district commissioner Brig Pule Phillip Mokoena reminded law enforcement agencies of their mandate in providing a safe and secure environment as well as enforcement of the laws of the country without fear, favour or prejudice.
Mokoena encouraged members to always promote and maintain good quality service delivery and professionalism while on duty.
