Or send an email at complaints@lesedi.gov.za

• State the reason for the call.

• Be specific on the kind of help needed, power failure/water leakage/sanitation/keypad problem, unable to load prepaid units, municipal accounts or any services delivery-related issue.

• Provide full name and surname, address and contact details.

• Don’t forget to ask for the name of the call centre agents who assisted.

• Ensure to ask for a reference number, this will make things easier when a follow up on the issue is done.
• Report service-related matters to LLM Call Centre 24/7.

City of Ekurhuleni

• On the Ekurhuleni website, www.ekurhuleni.gov.za, a “For me” tab can be found that could be followed to the “Report it” page.

• Send an email to the municipality’s call centre, call.centre@ekurhuleni.gov.za
• Contact the CoE call centre on 0860 543 00, where a reference number for the call will be allocated.

Logging a call through the correct channel will ensure that there is a record of the complaint, enabling a way for effective tracking and follow-up.

Customers are also encouraged to download the My CoE app from the Google Play or Apple Play stores.

The CoE app contains a multitude of contact details for departments, such as accounts, electricity, water, roads, refuse and waste for community members.

This app includes every contact detail of the Ekurhuleni ward councillors who can assist community members who reside within their respective wards.

The ward councillors are members who have been elected by local community members during local government elections and can assist community members by escalating reported service delivery complaints.

Nigel Ward councillor is Wollaston Labuschagne: 082 413 4318

Every town also has a customer relations management department where complaints can be handed indirectly.

Customers can visit the municipality’s social media pages for more information about service delivery and the complaint process.
