Residents and businesses in the Heidelberg industrial area, Shalimar Ridge, Rensburg, Escort, British American Tobacco, Vaaldam (agricultural holdings) and Heidelberg Correctional Services are notified of an electricity interruption on March 13 between noon and 6pm.
The Lesedi Local Municipality has identified a cable fault that needs to be urgently repaired.
To ensure the safety of employees and customers, there is a need to switch off all of the above-mentioned areas while the team is working on the network.
To ensure the safety of all residents, the municipality recommends treating all electrical circuits and appliances as live.
The municipality recognises the inconvenience this may cause and pledges to restore services safely and as quickly as possible.
