This is an important message to all our loyal readers and advertisers. Rumours of the Heidelberg Nigel Heraut closing down has come under the attention of management. These rumours are  false and incorrect.

We have been bringing you the news weekly since 1985 and our aim is to continue delivering a newspaper to the homes of our readers and the businesses of our loyal advertisers.

Our team is more dedicated than ever to keep you informed of all the local news on a weekly basis. The news team will continue to do thorough coverage in Heidelberg as well as Nigel and editorial space is also set aside for Balfour.

For just over 35 years, the Heraut has been the voice of the community, taking pride in both the towns of Heidelberg and Nigel’s achievements. We are the watchdog of our communities and will continue our dedicated service to all.

Our office remains at 9 Ueckermann Street in Heidelberg, and our business hours are:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4.30pm
  • Friday: 8am to 4pm
