With the 21 day lockdown period well underway and thousands of South Africans staying at home, crime could become an issue during this time.
Community Policing Forums (CPF) are not allowed to patrol the streets or respond to incidents as they are not classified as an essential service. The Heidelberg CPF control room will be fully operational during the lockdown so that residents can call in any emergencies on their radios. It is important to have the following SAPS numbers close by in order to report suspect behavior or activities:
