Dipaleseng offices temporarily closed

Dipaleseng Local Municipality announced that the municipal offices will be closed from 12:00 on March 25 until April 16. 

BALFOUR – In light of the national lockdown, Mrs Busi Khanye (acting municipal manager) of Dipaleseng Local Municipality announced that the municipal offices will be closed from 12:00 on March 25 until April 16.

The following essential services will continue to operate under the regulations: Community Services and Public Safety – fire and rescue services, cemetery-, waste management services and traffic management.

The outsourced security services will continue with the task of safe guarding the municipal properties. Cemetery services/bookings of graves will only be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 08:00 until 12:00. Payment of graves must be made directly into the municipal bank account.

Infrastructure Services – electricity, water and sanitation: water tankers provided by the Department of Water Affairs will be placed at strategic locations in each ward to supplement water provision wherever a need might arise. Supply Chain Management: payment of municipal accounts, rates and taxes, graves and any other payments must be made directly into the municipal bank account at First National Bank, cheque account number 51590840208, swift code FIRNZAJJ.
