SASSA January payment notice

SASSA announced to social grant beneficiaries that payments for the month of January 2020 will commence as of December 31.

Beneficiaries who receive their social grants in cash (at cash pay points) will continue to collect their grants on the date communicated to them in the last cash payment cycle.

Beneficiaries are encouraged to explore different forms of grants collection offered by the agency, such as using merchants and ATMs to collect their grants. Social grants recipients do not have to withdraw all their funds in one day or the first day of the month. Funds can be withdrawn on different days throughout the month in accordance with their needs.
