International speaker to share information on ancient medicines for modern illnesses

Dr Nicholas Partington, a qualified biochemist and practicing healthcare professional will be the guest speaker on July 6 at Adventhaven Frail Care and Community Centre.

The event will start at 14:00 and entrance is free of charge. Dr Partington will speak on ancient medicines for modern illnesses and diseases.

 
He has experience in the field of health, wellness and nutrition and has lectured to tertiary students in Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology at the Homeopathic College of Medicine.
Dr Partington was appointed as medical and scientific manager of Nestle from 1971 until 2007 when he retired.

 

He also worked closely with governments of many African countries in establishing feeding schemes for the impoverished. He was also involved in HIV and AIDS clinical trials at academic hospitals in the Johannesburg region.

 
He is a well-known speaker at national and international conferences where he addresses healthcare professionals on various topics of health, wellness and nutrition.
