Get help fast in an emergency with Dialdirect Namola emergency app
Namola’s introduction of Namola Watch also allows community crime-fighting organisations to get involved.
The Dialdirect Namola Emergency App is a free app that allows anyone in South Africa to get help fast in emergency situations.
With the app, operators know who the user is and, with the use of GPS coordinates, where they are located, before the user has even answered the callback.
The app, which went national in November 2017, has over 260,000 users and has assisted over 22,500 South Africans in real incidents.
Dialdirect Namola also recently released a brand new feature called Family Safety, which is aimed at providing additional peace of mind when it comes to keeping South Africans safe.
“Finding innovative ways to increase not only the safety of our users, but to provide them with the additional peace-of-mind to keep their families safe, is our top priority,” says Maanda Tshifularo, Head of Dialdirect Namola’s sponsor, Dialdirect Insurance.

Since Namola Watch launched on the 16th of May 2018, over 750 community organisations have signed up to use the Namola Watch app to help their fellow South Africans get help fast in an emergency.
