Dipaleseng Local Municipality averts scheduled supply interruptions

Thursday, 22 November 2018: Eskom is pleased to announce that on 21 November 2018, Dipaleseng Local Municipality has made a commitment to make an agreed payment towards its outstanding debt to Eskom, and also made commitment to correct the Payment Agreement Plan that was signed in July 2018.

As a result, the interruptions of supply which were scheduled to commence on 26 November 2018 have been suspended.
Grootvlei, Balfour Town and Greylingstad were going to be affected by these interruptions.
Should Dipaleseng Local Municipality not honour the payment agreement that will be entered into, the implementation of scheduled supply interruptions will resume within 14 days’ notice.
