HEIDELBERG – Vusi Mabena (26) known as Vusi the Poet, has been nominated by the founders of Live Your Dream SA Awards. This prestige writing competition will be held in Durban on November 24.
Mabena is known for his roles as an extra in soapies such as Generations, Skeem’Saam, The Queen and The Throne. He also writes poems for social media and different newspapers and is a regular talk show guest on SABC 1.
Mabena has a passion for children and managed to visit 135 schools in Balfour, Nigel, Heidelberg, Greylingstad and Duduza.
He motivates children to stay drug free and not give up in life and to know what they want in life.
