Four Suspected kidnappers were arrested by the Police in Nigel opposite The Angelo Mall earlier today.
The arrests follow an alleged kidnapping which occurred around 13:00 at the Vopak petroleum terminal outside Jameson Park.
Vopak workers downed tools yesterday following an arbitration dispute.
According to police spokesperson Sgt Nellie Dwaba, the kidnappers demanded ransom of R20 000 from the victim’s family, who alerted the police.
After tracking the victim’s vehicle to Nigel, police managed to apprehend the suspects. They are detained at Nigel Police Station.
