Do you qualify for a child support grant?
The grant can assist you to provide for your child’s needs.
SASSA would like to inform you that they have a grant for children between the ages of 0-18 years called the child support grant. You do not have to wait for any period before applying.
Please visit your nearest SASSA office to lodge an application for your child to see whether you would qualify and benefit immediately as SASSA pays from the date of application.
Ensure you carry the following documents with you when you visit the office: identity document of the applicant and spouse if married; birth certificate of the child; proof of marital status: marriage certificate if married / divorce decree if divorced – death certificate if widow/widower; proof of income.
