Nigel Police need your help to solve a case
SAPS Nigel need assistance in an unsolved case after the body of Daniel Gilbert (50) was found in the veld near the Vetsak bridge on May 8.
The body was discovered around 10:00 by a pedestrian. Upon arrival, police noted blood under the face of the deceased, who was facing the ground. The circumstances surrounding his death form part of a police investigation.
At the time, the deceased was wearing a brown jersey with a striped (coloured) shirt underneath, black trousers and a black belt, but no shoes. He was later identified by family members and some of his personal belongings were found at a nearby tavern, which makes police suspect that Gilbert had been murdered.
