International choirs performs at Heidelberg Mall
The voices belong to members of the Keystone State boys choir and the Pennsylvania girls’ choir from Philadelphia.
The sound of choral music echoed through Heidelberg Mall on July 6, when two visiting international choirs delivered a stellar performance in full view of shoppers in front of Woolworths.
Part of the international choirs’ itinerary in celebration of the Mandela centenary, consists of musical workshops and performances across the country in collaboration with the Lesedi Show choir.
The Lesedi Show choir (consisting of 45 members from Ratanda) also hosted an event at the Ratanda Multi Purpose Centre on July 7, featuring both choirs from the United States of America, as well as their own local talents.
