Poortje Road accident leaves two dead
Two dead - four seriously injured in Poortje Road accident.
Two people died and four sustained serious injuries in a motor vehicle accident on the Poortje Road next to Heidelberg Golf Club yesterday (July 2).
The accident occurred around 14:00 and it is believed that the driver who was travelling from the direction of Groenfontein towards Heidelberg, lost control and veered off the road.
The car capsized and rolled several times.
The exact circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated by SAPS Heidelberg.
