Heidelberg police need help in identifying bodies and human remains.

Heidelberg SAPS are requesting those who has loved ones that went missing in the past year to help them identify two bodies that were found in December as well as the skull and bones of a human that were discovered this week.

The skull and bones were found on January 3 in Spaarwater and police must still determine the race, sex and age of the person.

An African female’s body was found in a decomposed state on December 3 in the Rooikraal area. No further details are available.

The body of an African male was found on December 21 next to the R23 near Overkruin. The deceased is estimated to be in his 30s and was wearing brown trousers, a brown belt, striped brown and orange T-shirt, a brown cap and brown boots.
