The public’s assistance is required to help with the whereabouts of Steven John “Johnny” Hall (56) from Heidelberg who went missing during the floods (https://www.citizen.co.za/heidelberg-nigel-heraut/20666/die-dag-na-die-vloed-opruiming-begin/) that created havoc in the center of town on the evening of January 3.
Johnny was last seen leaving the house of a friend in Heidelberg Central. He told the friend that he was going to his home in Rensburg and has not been seen or heard from again.
Search and rescue teams have been searching for Johnny and his vehicle since last night.

National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) are at this moment searching for the missing man and his vehicle along the Blesbokspruit. Members of Heidelberg CPF have also conducted numerous searches in and around the river.
