Highway Ministry held their eighth luncheon and prayer function for Heidelberg’s officials in uniform. Jan de Bruin from Highway Ministry told members that the main purpose of the function is to show the community’s appreciation for what the officers of Heidelberg are doing.
Cllr Busisiwe Modisakeng (Executive Mayor: Sedibeng District Municipality) said the public are acknowledging and appreciate the officers’ commitment in keeping everyone safe.
Dr Chris Wehrmann was the keynote speaker and he talked about people being ambassadors for the Kingdom.
Members also had the opportunity to lay down wreaths in honour of those people who died in the line of duty and everyone then joined in communion.
Pastor Jeremiah Zulu spoke a blessing over everyone and then proceeded to blow the Shofar or ram’s horn which is used as an instrument of spiritual warfare. See the video here:
