SA Library week is happening – book your cause

NIGEL/HEIDELBERG - South African Library Week runs from 13 to 21 March; forgood, an online platform that connects people to causes, has made it easy to take part.

Through forgood, individuals and groups can connect with a cause that has a book-related need and in so doing they can get involved in Library Week in a convenient and meaningful way.

“There’s some amazing stuff you can do, all connected to the humble book,” says Andy Hadfield, CEO of ForGood. “You can help establish a school library, read to children, sort and cover school books and donate or sponsor a book, bookcase or stationery to a worthy cause. Forgood has gathered all of these needs onto a single online platform.”

To make things even easier, forgood has listed some of the Library Week causes registered on their site – all of them have been vetted to ensure they meet NPO criteria.
