Big drama is playing off at Heidelberg Hospital at this very moment

Police, fire fighters and medics are at this moment trying to negotiate with a patient that is threatening to jump off the roof of Heidelberg Hospital.

The man was brought in at around 09:00 from Devon by ambulance when he jumped out and climbed on the roof. He refuses to come down.

Good news: Members of Heidelberg police have managed to overpower the man at around 11:00. Lesedi Fire and Rescued stepped in and sedated the man while still on the roof. He was safely brought down at 11:15 in a stretcher and taken inside the hospital.
