A 31-year-old man was arrested on February 5 for pointing a firearm at his girlfriend.
This follows an incident that occurred on the evening of February 4.
According to the victim from Roseview in Duduza, her boyfriend approached her as she was walking home from work.
The boyfriend was apparently very angry and pulled out a firearm and pointed it at her forehead, threatening to shoot her.
The victim fled to her home and found that her boyfriend had been there earlier and damaged her furniture.
Duduza police spokesperson Sgt Harry Manaka said the boyfriend was arrested in Tsakani Extension 19 while in possession of a firearm and will face charges of pointing a firearm and malicious damage to property.
