The iconic Ghostface killer returns. Who could it be?

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.

Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group present a Project X Entertainment Production, A Radio Silence Film: Scream which released nationwide on January 14.

Scream (also informally known as Scream 5) is a 2022 American slasher film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.

Executive producers are Kevin Williamson, Chad Villella, Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, Ron Lynch, Cathy Konrad and Marianne Maddalena.

Neve Campbell (Sidney Prescott) stars in Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group’s Scream.

The movie was produced by William Sherak, James Vanderbilt and Paul Neinstein. It is the fifth installment in the Scream film series and is based on characters created by Kevin Williamson. Neve Campbell (Sidney Prescott), Courteney Cox (Gale Weathers) and David Arquette (Dewey Riley) return to their iconic roles alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Sonia Ammar.

With Scream already in cinemas, Paramount Pictures makes its final push to entice viewers with a brand new trailer.

The short but jam-packed video features some tantalising and terrifying visuals, including a glimpse of Ghostface with a flamethrower. Plus, the trailer makes good use of those positive early reactions.

Based on the above trailer, Scream is going to be a suspenseful thrill ride, and fans should be prepared for all kinds of surprises.
