This year Earth Owl is launching an exciting new initiative. It marks the beginning of their food security and skills development Agri-Project in partnership with The Wayside Feeding Scheme. Roché Pepler said that through the course of the next five years, Earth Owl with herself and Santana Pestana at the helm will be working very closely with a few individuals from the Wayside feeding scheme, by teaching them the basics of growing their produce.

The Wayside feeding scheme will be helped and assisted with valuable marketing, sales and entrepreneurial skills to assist their business and help them to become more successful and self-sustainable. The scheme currently feeds 69 families within Aldara Park that are in the Randburg area.

Their goal is to be able to become more self-sufficient in their endeavours and to increase it to 200 families within the next two years.
