Miss Empower SA invites contestants to register

Mesa is a national pageant that aims to empower and uplift young women in South Africa.

The newly established Miss Empower South Africa (Mesa) is calling for young women between the ages of 16 and 45 years in Mzanzi to enter their 2021 pageant.

The beauty pageant was established on May 25 by 21-year-old Nonhlanhla Dalasile with a vision to restore the dignity of young girls and women in South Africa.

Dalasile said Mesa is a six-month-long pageant where contestants are taught about social responsibility and the importance of giving back to the community and personal growth.

“Young women get an opportunity to discover their strengths and weaknesses, embrace their talents, and meet powerful people. We look to help them improve their communication skills as well as necessary skills and attributes required to become the best version of themselves,” said Dalasile.

To apply send your details, including your name and surname, age, the province you are from and three pictures of yourself.

The finals will be held on December 4.
