Body found in local guesthouse driveway
Heidelberg police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a 47-year-old woman was found lying in the driveway of a guesthouse in town yesterday afternoon.
According to information received from the police, the woman booked into the guesthouse at approximately 4pm yesterday and was joined by a man.
The woman was later discovered lying in the driveway of the property by a resident of the guesthouse. The resident raised the alarm and informed the owner of the guesthouse about the incident.
The deceased had an injury to her chest and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services certified her dead on the scene. It is suspected the victim may have been struck or driven over by a motor vehicle.
Police are currently looking for a man known as Paul or PK who drives a black BMW X5 with an unknown registration number. It is believed that he can assist with the investigation.
