Prayer warrior from Witbank spotted in Heidelberg

People all over the world are praying daily for an end to the pandemic.

Prayer groups in hospital parking areas, small businesses and in the streets of residential suburbs are seen often.

Heraut spotted a prayer warrior on the corner of Ueckerman and Marais streets on January 27.

Jeremiah Zulu is a pastor at the New Jerusalem Church in Witbank and is travelling to all the provinces to pray.
“People must never lose hope during the pandemic because with God there is always hope,” he said.

While the sounds of Jeremiah’s ram’s horn travelled the streets of Heidelberg, he lifted his hands up and prayed to God to heal the world.

“We also pray for God’s protection, for His peace and for the coming of Jesus,” Jeremiah said.

“During the pandemic we especially think of those who are sick, the ones who are frightened, those who have died and those who are on the frontline of the fight against the pandemic,” Jeremiah added.

His next stop is Rustenburg, where he will be visiting the local hospitals and walk through the streets in the CBD, praying for healing.

Jeremiah Zulu, a pastor at the New Jerusalem Church in Witbank, came to Heidelberg on January 27 to pray as part of a national prayer movement against the pandemic.
