Decontamination made easy

With more and more businesses receiving the green light to resume business as the nationwide lockdown moves to lower levels, the responsibility for business owners grows to ensure the safety of their employees as well as customers and clients.

If the decontamination if not validated then it can’t be regarded as a decontamination, and here is a company that offers validation.

NOTHSA Enterprises makes the decontamination of shops, beauty and hairdressing salons, day-care facilities and offices to name a few, easy with their DIY decontamination kits that is simple to use with efficient results and validation.

The products included in the kit are used in three easy steps to kill the Covid-19 coronavirus. It is safe to be used in homes, offices and vehicles and affordable for households and businesses alike.

HERAUT has put the products to the test in their own premises and can confirm that it is indeed very easy to use.

All the products in the DIY kit are WHO, EU and SABS approved. The regular kit (enough to decontaminate 20 standard rooms) include a reusable aerator and containers, solution, sachets and sanitiser. This kit costs R2 560 (excluding VAT and delivery).

For the large kit (decontaminates 40 standard rooms) that includes the reusable aerator and containers, solution, sachets and sanitiser, you will pay only R3 810 (excluding VAT and delivery).

The Bacterex-C is used on a daily basis to sanitise all touch points, floors, walls etc. It has a 3,4% chlorine content once it is a solution. This is effective in breaking down the pathogen. The solution works out at R0,48 per litre.

The eOxide (Chlorine dioxide) tablets are used for aerial decontamination. The solution is aerated causing a vapour that is not harmful to any materials that it comes into contact with and ensure a deep clean.

The sanitiser is an ethanol based hand sanitiser with a QAC agent. Unlike alcohol based sanitisers that, once the alcohol has evaporated, is deemed inert, the QAC agent in Sterirub stays on the hands and has a lasting effect.
