How to pay your CoE bill online during lockdown

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) is urging residents not to allow service interruptions during the Covid-19 lockdown period, by making use of any of the various platforms available to make payment of municipal bills.

Siyakhokha

You can register on the City’s online system and be able to view, manage and pay your account online from the comfort of your own home. Should you experience any problems registering or need to query your account you can email Siyakhokha.ekurhuleni.gov.za

 Customer Care Centres

Our customer care centres and finances offices will be open during the lockdown, operated by skeleton staff. You will be able to query and pay your account and buy prepaid units between 08:30 until 15:30 weekdays, except for Wednesday when it is open from 09:00 until 15:30. Please ensure you adhere to the social distancing and other precautions when visiting any of the centres.

Not all CoE departments in Nigel are however, fully functional yet and according to Wollaston Labuschagne (DA councillor) he has been in communication with the MMC of Environmental Resource Management in regards to grass cutting.

“The Nigel waste transfer station should be open and refuse removal will continue to take place on a weekly basis,” he added
