Dancers perform well at the Gauteng Dance Championships

Rene’s Art of Dance studio boasts 26 students representing them at the annual Gauteng Dance Championships that was held on October 11 in Heidelberg. JD Haasbroek finished in first place in the Juvenile Champ Latin and second place in the Juvenile Champ Energy categories.
Cherise van Zyl achieved fourth place in the Juvenile Champ Classic, second place in the Juvenile Champ Latin and third place in the Juvenile Champ Energy categories.
Abigail Gabrielli completed the championship with a first place in the Juvenile Champ Classic, a third place in the Juvenile Champ Latin and a first place in Juvenile Champ Energy categories whilst Amone Combrinck secured a third place in the Juvenile Champ Classic and first place in the Juvenile Rising Star categories.
Brigitte van Schalkwyk achieved second place in the Junior Classic, fourth place in the Juvenile Rising Star and thrid place in the Juvenile Star Energy categories.
Charmone Jansen van Vuuren secured a first place position in the junior Rising Star Classic and fifth place in the junior Rising Star Energy categories.
