Three injured in accident at busy intersection
Traffic were brought to a halt after an accident at the intersection between Stasie Street and the Groenfontein/Poortje Road.
Three people were injured when two vehicles collided on the intersection between Groenfontein/Poortje Road and Stasie Street at around 07:30 this morning. The driver of one of the vehicles wanted to turn into Stasie Street and apparently did not see the oncoming vehicle.
One of the injured sustained head injuries and all three were taken to local hospitals by ambulance.
