Riders from Carlisle Stud and Equestrian Park selected to represent Sedibeng at Gauteng finals

The high school Gauteng finals will take place on 4 and 5 August at Kyalami Equestrian Park and the primary school Gauteng finals on 28 and 29 July at Eaton Farm.

Four riders from Carlisle Stud and Equestrian Park have been selected to represent Sedibeng at the Gauteng finals SANESA (South African National Equestrian Schools Association).  The high school Gauteng finals will take place on 4 and 5 August at Kyalami Equestrian Park and the primary school Gauteng finals on 28  and 29 July at Eaton Farm.

Tamara van Vuuren (Hoër Volkskool); Casey-leigh Smit (Laer Volkskool); Adrienne MacDonald-Hutcheson ( Laer Volkskool) and Yulani van As (Hoër Volkskool) will be competing in the following classes at their respective finals: Casey and Flicka Speed: 90 cm Show Jumping accumulator – A team; and Dressage SANESA Special 1 and 2 – A team.

Tammy and Midguard Althea: 100 cm Equitation – A team; and Preliminary Dressage 1 & 2 –  A team.

Yulani and Carlisle’s Bolt: 60 cm Equitation – A team; 70 cm Show Jumping accumulator – B team; and 70 cm Show Jumping competition – A team.

Adrienne and Lang Carel Wildebees: Pony Riders Preliminary Dressage 1 & 2 – A team; and Prix Caprilli Novice 1 & 2 – A team.

Adrienne and Waterford Chocolate: Pony Riders Novice Dressage 1 & 2 – A team; Prix Caprilli Intermediate 1 – A team; 80 cm Show Jumping accumulator – A team; 80 cm Show Jumping competition – A team; 70 cm Equitation –  A team; Working riding – A team; and 70 cm Working hunter – A team.

Adrienne and Carlisle’s Apollo: Dressage SANESA Special 1 & 2 – A team; Prix Caprilli Beginner 1 & 2 – A team; 60 cm Show Jumping accumulator – B team; and 60 cm Show Jumping competition – A team.
Michelle MacDonald-Hutcheson, instructor for all four riders, says she is excited about the upcoming Gauteng finals and that they are working hard in preparation for the events.
