WARNING: Dense smoke on R23/Louw Street towards Overkruin

Motorists must take note to avoid the R23 towards Overkruin due to a veld fire that is causing dense smoke over the road.

Visibility is poor! Please avoid!

The flames have now (11:30) been moving away from the R23 in the direction of the Army Gymnasium’s grounds and visibility on the R23 is now better. The wind can change at any time and there are still small flames right next to the road. Please stay careful.
