Katlego wins bronze in cross-country champs
Team Gauteng, of which Katlego Khumalo was a member, clinched the gold medal.
Katlego Khumalo, an athlete from the Khanya Lesedi School of Specialisation in Ratanda, recently represented Gauteng at the SA Schools Athletics National Cross Country Championships in Kimberley.
Katlego participated in the boys’ U16 6km, surprising everyone with a bronze medal. Katlego’s time was 19:55.
Team Gauteng, of which Katlego Khumalo was a member, won the gold medal at the championships.
