Football tournament full of kasi flavour
A Youth Day weekend football tournament is to be held in Alra Park.
Alra Park Sports Development will kick off Youth Day with a U17 soccer tournament from June 16 to 18. The event at Mackenzieville Stadium was pencilled as a development tournament.
The theme of the event will be Kasi Flavour Football.
The teams will battle it out on the soccer field to become the new Ekurhuleni Far East Champions.
The competing teams and first matches are:
AP Cambridge FC vs Tsakane Vultures FC
AP Shukela Etiyene vs Dynamos FC
AP Shamrocks FC vs Nthorwane Future Stars
APDikwena FC vs Sputla Stars FC
Magens FC vs Ratanda Stars FC
The chairperson of Mackenzie Alra Park Football Association, German Visser, said “We want to thank the local businesses from Alra Park and Duduza for their generosity in sponsoring the tournament and making it a reality.
