The team's managing board thanked the community for their continued support.

Peace Brothers FC played against Talita FC from Boksburg on May 29.

The first half of the match, played at the Reigerpark Stadium in Boksburg had both teams fighting hard to score the opening goal.

By half-time, the score was still 0-0.

“The Talita team had a few advantages, given their experience,” said team manager Seja Mahladisa.

“They have played in the Motsepe League previously and had the experience of former Mamelodi Sundowns and Pirates FC captain Old John Mabizela.”

During their half time break, Peace Brothers coach Beipa Sebeko encouraged the players to work harder to maintain their top spot on the league log.

With a few substitutions made during the second-half of the match Peace Brothers’ leading scorer, Lelo Wandile Twala (20), scored two goals for his team.

Twala was also Man of the Match.

Peace Brothers won 2-0 and remain at the top of the log with four matches to go.
