Heidelberg Bowling Club held an open day at the club on May 21.
Teams from as far afield as Frankfort, Vrede, Pretoria, Boksburg, Modder B, Secunda, Nigel and Heidelberg took part in the open day.
There were 24 teams of four players each.
Heidelberg was well represented, as 82% of the participants came from their own club.
The cold weather did not frighten any players off. With great interplay between the teams and great camaraderie between the players, everyone enjoyed the day.
With the Covid-19 restrictions being eased, the players are taking advantage of the opportunities to engage and participate against other individuals and teams.
