Rensburg still without power
To avoid a total blackout, the municipality is forced to apply load-reduction while repairing the faults.
The power outage that has left parts of Heidelberg and Rensburg without power since April 27 is ongoing.
According to Lesedi Local Municipality (LLM), their team of technicians are busy with the faults on the network.
Some parts of Rensburg will be without power, as the municipality tries to balance the load on the network.
LLM stated recent cable theft has also placed the system under severe strain.

LLM said the power will be restored during the course of the day and apologised for the inconvenience caused.
