Paddlers make a splash at the night race

Despite the dreary weather the annual VLC Night Race was a huge hit with 80 paddlers taking to the water.

Morgan Ziervogel, who paddled in the K1 division, was the first woman to finish the VLC Night Race, at Germiston Lake, last Tuesday. She completed the gruelling race in one hour and 27 minutes placing 20th overall.
