The Dawnview side secured their place in the finals when they defeated their rivals 12-5 on June 23.

One of the coaches Fana Moyo said the team’s recent success was a great comeback to the rugby field considering they were not competing for the past four years.

“We had a tough game because we had to come from behind to win the game.

“They scored first and that added pressure on the team,” said Moyo.

“Our boys showed character and dominated the match to secure victory,” he said.

“Our boys never had it easy with away games. The finals will also be an away game.”
